Moon and clouds

Has the above ever happened to you?  Ok, maybe not in a dimly lit library – but have you ever been approached with a question about Open Access, copyright, or fair use?

In today’s information age it is vitally important for librarians to keep up with copyright and fair use to confidently help faculty, staff and administrators make informed decisions.  On top of copyright and fair use, libraries are also playing a powerful role on the front lines of Open Access.

So, how do you get started/keep up with such a complex topic?  The goal of the Open Education interest group is to help everyone, from beginners with little experience to experts, join the discussion and build a community of support.

If you are interested in joining or have any questions about the group please contact me at agorrell2@alamo.edu.

Thank you!
